![]() Wheeljack then pursued Dreadwing back to Earth were he decided to stay, but as a semi-member of Team Prime. Con Job During Wheeljack's travels, he found his comrade Seaspray but he was killed by Dreadwing's bombs, which almost killed him too. While Bulkhead stayed on Earth, Wheeljack returned to space. Wheeljack came to Earth but was captured by Starscream and replaced by Makeshift in an attempt to destroy the Earth-based Autobots, but Wheeljack escaped and reunited with his buddy Bulkhead and foiled Starscream's plan. Toxicity Once Cybertron went dark, the Wreckers scattered and went their separate ways. ![]() Loose Cannons Hardshell also seemed to be a major enemy of the Wreckers. ![]() Con Job At an unknown point in the war, Roadbuster, Pyro, Impactor and Rotorstorm were killed. In the battle of Darkmount pass, Wheeljack engaged and killed the enemy forces and used their bodies to cross the molten metal. Loose Cannons Bulkhead left the Wreckers early on in the war to join Team Prime but Wheeljack continued to serve. Con Job Wheeljack and Bulkhead also took part in a battle on Sandokan. Bulkhead later stated that he was still picking shrapnel out of his backside. The Wheeljack, Bulkhead and an unknown number of Wreckers took part in an unnamed battle were they were surrounded by cons so Wheeljack threw a grenade into the heat exchanger, destroying it and all the cons. Con Job The Insecticon Hardshell noted that he had offlined several when fighting Bulkhead. Loose Cannonsīulkhead and Wheeljack were also members, though early on in the war Bulkhead left to join Team Prime. To Agent Fowler, he viewed them as black ops. They accepted mission that no one else could or would, most times many of them did not come back. The Wreckers were a combat unit that operated outside the normal chain of command. This battle had all Wreckers (aside from Rodimus) suffering the usual fate of most Wreckers from most universes. Rodimus was in charge, until they aided the Autobots at Praxus-Delta. Note: Their starship, the Xantium, appears able to transform into a robot and thus may also constitute a member of the team. It became known as The Wreckers' Last stand. It became one of their most famous deployments, but also one of their most costly. The wreckers were once again deployed to liberate the Garrus-9 prison complex from the control of the Renegade Decepticon Overlord. When Thunderwing popped up again guarding a cave on on Corata-Vaz, Optimus Prime sent for the team once again. Stormbringer #3 Thunderwing was slightly more challenging, but the Wreckers suffered no apparent casualties. They then proceeded to take Bludgeon's team apart without breaking a sweat. The Wreckers arrived just in time to save Nosecone and Afterburner. Assigned to Varas Centralus after the Decepticon infiltration on that planet went to Phase Six, they were pulled out and sent back to Cybertron at the order of Optimus Prime when the Autobot leader suspected that Thunderwing may have been behind the disappearance of the Calabi-Yau. The Wreckers are the Autobots who get called in when the odds of success are nonexistent, but the job needs to be done anyway. The Wreckers are so hardcore they don't even need a spaceship. "What do you mean, it's a lost cause? Of course it's a lost cause. In the battle, both Whirl and Roadbuster were apparently killed before Ultra Magnus took charge and brought Menasor down. This, however, was after Menasor had already wiped out the Omnibots and defeated Defensor. When the Stunticons were released from imprisonment in Cybertron's detention banks, the Wreckers responded in kind. Later on, during Shockwave's reign on Cybertron, the Wreckers were a small but elite task force of Autobots dedicated to keeping the peace wherever (and however) necessary. Led by Springer, they clashed with Ratbat's Ultracons in the Tagan Heights for a time The War Within: The Dark Ages before reuniting with the Autobots and the Lightning Strike Coalition immediately prior to the Age of Internment. The Wreckers split from the Autobot forces after the disappearance of Optimus Prime in a space bridge explosion. The Wreckers: Featuring Ultra Magnus's Crotch. Springer (leader after Impactor's death)Īfter the team takes major casualties during the Time Wars, the few survivors (Springer, Broadside and Inferno) joined together with other "outsiders"-both Autobot and Decepticon-to form the (aptly named) Survivors.Time Wars Inferno is later affiliated with the team. Distant Thunder! Roadbuster reappears amongst the Wreckers eventually, but Whirl is never seen again. Target:2006 Both Roadbuster and Whirl appear to be absent from the team later on. They were later joined by Broadside, Sandstorm and Springer (who became the team's leader after Impactor's death). The initial roster of the Wreckers consisted of Impactor (the leader), Roadbuster, Whirl, Twin-Twist, Topspin and Rack'n'Ruin.
